Bone Grafting
Used for Dental Implants and Other Periodontal Procedures
Bone grafting is used to build up the jawbone to accommodate a dental implant or a restorative device, or as a treatment for periodontal disease. The grafted bone is often taken from another part of the mouth. Cadaver bone fragments may be used instead. The fragments are harvested by bone banks and thoroughly sanitized to prevent infection or complications.
